International @ UNITS

At the university of Trieste one of our main goals is to exploit and manage the intellectual property arising from the research carried out by our staff, and to license our technologies to interested companies and bodies in a wide spectrum of application contexts. We also foster the creation of start-up companies based on our research findings and technologies.

Licensing for us is a way to ensure that the investment needed to bring our innovations into the marketplace actually happens, and that a fair return could help the university reinvest to allow further research.
